Adventist Choir Win Big Prize

Winners-hafan

The Adventist University of the Philippines has won the ‘Choir of the World’ award at this year’s Llangollen Eisteddfod.

After already winning the mixed choir and chamber choir awards on Friday they then went one step further last night to win the most prestigious award in the whole competition – the Pavarotti trophy – to cap a fantastic end to their Sabbath evening 🙂

Unfortunately none of the Swansea Church were able to visit this years competion, but Lily has kept in touch with some of the members of the choir, and hopefully we can hear a few stories of their experience soon.

To see the video of their three performances, follow this link: http://llangollen.tv/en/clip/adventist-university-of-the-philippines-ambassadors/
